I feel compelled to write you this email to thank you for the kind and professional manner in which you cared for our dogs whilst myself and my family were away on holiday. Charlie, as we explained before leaving, does have a tendency to pine and go off his food whenever we are away. It was a pleasure to return on this occasion to find him fit, healthy and as plump as he was when we left. He obviously ate well during our holiday. I would like to thank you especially for collecting both of the dogs in your luxuriously equipped vehicle and for the excellent grooming service that you provided during their stay. It will certainly take the worry out of future holidays to know that our pets are being cared for by such a thoughtful person/business. You are a godsend, once again THANK YOU.
Yours sincerely
Richard Vince.
We have nothing but praise for Kings Farm Boarding Kennels. Our two Labradors, who are nearly 2 and 2 and a half just love staying there. Prior to finding Sheila and her staff we had never found any kennels that we trusted with our dogs, and that includes the dogs we owned prior to these two. As soon as we arrive they know exactly where they are and get very excited. The care they receive is second to none and nothing is too much trouble. One big plus as far as we are concerned is the fact that the dogs have an area where they can be let off on their own in complete safety, as well as being taken for walks twice a day. We are delighted to have the chance to recommend these kennels.

I wanted to write to say a huge thank you for the way you looked after Harry , Dusty and Taya whilst they were with you. They came back relaxed, smiley and content and it was a pleasure to see how they had bonded with you. When I collected them, they were in the run with you and they hadn't seen the car - I watched them for a minute and they were so content. That means a great deal to me. Harry in particular can be very shy and has, when been in kennels before, lost weight, returned with a starey coat and been very unhappy. Not this time - he was as happy with you as he is at home. They will be with you again in June/ July and I have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone who loves their dogs as we do.
Kind regards

Having been involved professionally in animal care and its many facets I have seen many boarding kennels. When I first went to King’s Farm I was impressed with the facilities, the professional and friendly way that Sheila and Louise tended to the dogs, and was pretty sure my three dogs would be happy and well looked after. They had never been in kennels before and after the first time came home happy and in excellent condition. I have just left them for their third visit, and they nearly pulled my arm from the socket to get in. I couldn’t be more pleased that my dogs will miss me so little!! Or could I?

I would be very pleased if you could put on your website how happy we are that we found your website as a dog boarding kennel. I am very sensible about animals but had got to a point where I could not put my dog in kennels even for one night as he was so off- colour and depressed for weeks afterwards. He was a rescue dog and I think he thought we were going to abandon him. Also I wanted a kennel that would be warm and comfortable for him, as he lives in the house I didn't want to leave him in a glorified outhouse. From the first time Monty went to Kings Farm he came home as happy as when we left him. The kennels are so fresh and clean and yet welcoming and comfortable for the dogs. He obviously has a lot of exercise and human contact as promised on the website. I now have no worry about leaving Monty when we go away and happily make the one hour round trip as it is well worth the peace of mind.
Many thanks,

I was very impressed with the design of the kennels and their high level of hygeine. Both Mrs Havers and her helper, Louise, have a very good understanding of dogs and the different breeds needs. They now have a lovely outside run where the dogs can run off lead. You will need to provide your dog's feed , but if for some reason your dog does not want to eat this in kennel, they will be offered other types of suitable feed. There is a separate area where a dog can be isolated if they require kennels and medical treatment. My dog had to go to kennels when unwell and was totally spoilt by all who cared for him. I am very confident in the care that my dogs receive.
